To facilitate smooth traffic and movement of civilians, members from Municipal Corporation took a strict action against encroachment at various places in the city.As per details received from the municipal corporation, the drive was carried out at Delhi Gate, Teej ki Chauk vegetable market, Ashwini Bazaar, Badbuja Ghaati, Loha Bazaar Chamanpura amongst other locations.

The anti-encroachment team confiscated the belongings of the people involved in encroachment and gave them stern warnings against future encroachment. The temporary structures were removed and the proprietors were left after cautioning.
