Continuing its anti-encroachment drive, UMC carried out the exercise of clearing the footpaths this morning from Ayurveda Chauraha to Malla Talai.

UMC cleared the encroachment on footpaths and other public places along the route. Going strict with rules, UMC started clearing all temporary and permanent encroachments on footpaths today from Ayurveda Chauraha to Malla Talai. Some of the vendors removed their temporary stalls themselves while others had to forced off.

UMC confiscated two temporary stalls, 8 stools and 1 iron bench as part of the drive. UMC team also cleared the road of illegal banners, hoardings and pamphlets etc.
