Municipal Corporation and Lake Patrol Team seized 214 kilos of polythene on Thursday. Anti-plastic bag drive was carried out in Savina Krishi Mandi, Sector 3, 4, 5, 6 and 14 of Hiranmangri and some more areas.  A fine of 14000 rupees was levied on the firms from where 214 kilos of polythene were seized.

Apart from this, the teams also seized buckets and clothes from the banks of lakes where public washes clothes.  Fishing rods were also seized from 7 persons found doing illegal fishing.
