Aquariums at Ambamata to showcase unique Fish breed

Fisheries Department at Radaji Circle, Ambamata, will be installing five mega fish aquariums in the campus. The installations will begin in May this year.

 

Fisheries Department at Radaji Circle, Ambamata, will be installing five mega fish aquariums in the campus.  The installations will begin in May this year.

The aquariums, to be funded by UIT will cost around Rs. 16 lakhs and will be built with the help of architects who will give the setup a Rajasthani touch.

Fishes including Gold Fish, Angel Fish, Sword Tale, Oscar, Gappi, Gambushia, Black Molly, White Molly, Tiger Shark and such will be kept in the aquariums.

Assistant Director of the Department informed, “The campus is near big hotels and lake Fatehsagar, because of which tourists will be able to observe various school of fish in those aquariums”.

Existing underground tanks built in the campus will be used to construct these mega Aquariums.
