To keep track of the Covid19 patients, a specially embedded wrist band is being prepared which will monitor the patient's symptoms and his movements both in home quarantine and hospital quarantine.
Arogya Embedded wristband will also help frontline workers to take relevant care while they visit houses for screening the patients. This looks like a smart watch and will keep track of the movements of the patients, also helping in remote monitoring.
The band will also be connected to the Arogya Setu app which will help the medical department in surveillance of the covid positive patients. The estimated cost of this wristband is 2000 rupees.
Since each positive patient can infect 100 others, the wristband will ensure that the quarantined person stays at a designated place. The band would monitor “everyday behaviour of the person, including where s/he orders food from and the places s/he regularly visits, the multiple routes s/he could take.
