Amateur artists of the city will now be able to showcase their paintings and statues at the Airport Terminal of Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok.

The passenger block in the terminal building of the airport will have a place to showcase these paintings, where interested individuals will be able to even buy the paintings and statues.

Anil Verma, Airport Director informed that, “Cloth Paintings, Miniature Paintings, Sopt Paintings, Fine Arts, Handicrafts, Statues and other such works of artists who are not working somewhere in the same niche will have a place in the airport to showcase their art.”

The selling price of the paintings and statues will be decided by the artists themselves.

The artists will be signing a contract which will state that they are not working anywhere to produce art. Also, 10% of the profit by selling the art will have to be deposites to the airport authorities.

Artists can apply to Airport offices directly  or by logging into the airport’s official website. The applicants will be screened individually before taking the arrangement forward.
