1st of December every year has been recognized as the World AIDS day by the UNO. To spread the awareness about the fatal AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) on the World AIDS Day, various programs will be conducted in the city by several organizations tomorrow.

1st of December every year has been recognized as the World AIDS day by the UNO. To spread the awareness about the fatal AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) on the World AIDS Day, various programs will be conducted in the city by several organizations tomorrow.

A procession under the banner of the Health Department Udaipur will be carried out by Department’s AIDS Precaution and Control Unit. The HIV and Aids awareness rally will start from town Hall tomorrow morning at 9:30 am and will conclude at RNT medical College via Surajpole, Bapu Bazar and Delhi Gate. In this procession, besides officials of Health and Medical Department, students of Nursing Colleges will also participate. The rally’s motto is to spread awareness among the general mass.

Another program, ‘Run For AIDS’ will be conducted tomorrow at Fateh Sagar by Delhi Public School (DPS) at 8 in the morning, in which students from 4th-6th std will participate. ‘Run for AIDS’ will start from Moti Magri to Dewali Corner.

This Rally is part of Health Week which is being organized in DPS from November 26 to December 1.

Aids logo created from Pearls

For the same cause, Udaipur’s artist Chandra Prakash Chittora has made a logo of AIDS (the Red Ribbon) from 1212 red pearls (in picture above).
