In the series of protests against the ‘Higher Education and Research Bill’, the Udaipur Bar Association demonstrated against the Bill by burning the effigy of Kapil Sibal, HR Minister today.

Over 300 protestors presented a memorandum against the bill to the President of India through the District Collector.

Mahendra Kumar Nagda, General Secretary, Bar Association Udaipur said, “If the bill is not taken back we will resort to a violent movement.”

Many members of the Bar Association were present in the protest today namely, Bharat Kumar Joshi, President Bar Association Udaipur; Shambu Singh Rathor, B.L. Sarupria and Shantilal Pamecha, among others.
