BAR Association to celebrate Golden Anniversary

A meeting of all former Presidents of Udaipur BAR association was held today at the association’s working committee’s office for preparations of the Golden Anniversary of the Udaipur BAR Association.

 

A meeting of all former Presidents of Udaipur BAR association was held today at the association’s working committee’s office for preparations of the Golden Anniversary of the Udaipur BAR Association.

All members of the meeting accepted the propositions of the Golden Anniversary celebrations.

Mahendra Kumar Nagda, General Secretary, Udaipur BAR Association, informed that the present president of the association, Bharat Joshi was also a part of the meeting. He further added, “The President will be presenting the current layout of the celebration that we have planned. He will be taking suggestions of all the former presidents for the event too.”

The meeting was lead under the direction of Basanti Lal Sarupriya, the first president of the Udaipur BAR association, who pledged to support the working committee for preparation of the event with all his resources. He said, “The celebration of 50 years of establishment of the BAR association is a historical event for the city.”

Strike on 11th July

Nagda also informed about the appeal from BAR Council of India that all BAR associations of the country should protest against the ‘Higher Education and Research Bill’ recommended by the government which is not in welfare of people and the BAR council.

He added that in support of the protest, the BAR association Udaipur will be protesting against the Bill on 11th and 12th July and will present a memorandum to the President of India in protest of the bill through the District Collector.
