Biometric System to now ensure attendance of Cleaning Workers

Following incidences of absenteeism in offices, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari evolved implementation of biometric machines for cleaning workers at their respective sector offices.

Around 15 machines will be installed at the offices for which district administration has begun working.

In the first stage, 3 machines will be installed at the sector offices through which the cleaning workers will have to report thrice a day. One machine will be devised at Nigam office as well.

This is an initiative for stringent cleanliness practice in the city and to avoid constant absenteeism in the offices. Likewise, the Nigam officers and ward corporators will be linked through CUG (Common Users Group) mobile connections.
