Modi effect is possible on the announcements expected during the 2015-16 State Budget to be declared by the CM Vasudhara Raje on Monday, 9th March.

Where the pundits are expecting a 10 time increase in the Skill Development budget, focus of the Government will be on road development and renewable energy projects.  Increase in appointments at the Pahchayat level and appointment of more teachers is a possibility.

Skill development, infrastructure development and industrialization will be the focus areas of the government.  There is a predictable sop in terms of Tax benefits for the Food Processing industry and Ceramic manufacturing units, in order to attract investors in the Resurgent Rajasthan Summit to be held in November 2015.  Make in India will the model to attract more investors to Rajasthan during the Summit.

Scope of the Deendayal Upadhyay Program will be increased to add more skill development centers, especially in Rural areas.  Small Scale Industries, with capital investment of less than Rs. 10 Crore will be allotted land under the RAJSICO umbrella, on the lines of RIICO.  Express arrangements towards this shift as well as consolidation of various industrial administrative associations is also underway at the Ministry levels.
