Grand celebrations are planned to make this year’s Maharana Pratap birth anniversary celebrations even more memorable. Central Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will be the chief guest on the occasion.

The celebration for Maharana Pratap birth anniversary is being organised by Maharana Pratap Jayanti Samaroh Samiti along with Municipal Corporation Udaipur. Addressing media, Chandra Singh Kothari, Mayor, informed that on the day of birth anniversary i.e. 16-June, at 7 am flowers will be offered at the statue of Maharana Pratap at Moti Magri. There will be a grand rally from there post that.

The rally will include 21 ornate horses, tableaus (jhanki) demonstrating Maharana Pratap’s life journey and over 500 vehicles with notable dignitaries from the city along with musical bands. On reaching Chetak Circle, praying rituals will be performed at the Chetak horse statue. From there, the rally will pass through Hathipole, Moti Chohatta, Ghanta Ghar, Bada Bazaar, Mukherjee Chowk and Surajpole to finally reach Town Hall.

Mayor along with city legislators will welcome the rally at Town Hall.
