Considering the huge rush during Janmashtami programmes across the city, Traffic police department has made changes in the traffic arrangement for today, 3-Sept.

For managing traffic during “Matki Phod” arrangement at Jagdish Chowk, DSP Traffic, Ratan Chawla, informed that all two and four wheeler will be prohibited to enter the Jagdish Chowk area from 1pm till the end of program. During this time, only the residents of Rangnivas, Ghantaghar, Hathipole and Chandpole will be allowed to use vehicles. All vehicles will be prohibited on the Jagdish temple road.

Four wheeler vehicles will also be prohibited during “darshan hours” from 6 pm till late night around Asthal temple Surajpole. Vehicles will not be allowed entry from RMV, Marshal Tiraha towards Asthal temple.

All vehicles will be prohibited during 5pm to 10pm in the Bekni Puliya area on account of the Matki Phod programme organised there. Traffic police personnel will be deployed at Ayad Tiraha, Bohra Ganesh Temple and New RTO office for stopping vehicles to go towards Bekni Puliya.
