The ghat section at Chirwa is set to get a makeover soon and will be converted into a valley of flowers. After the opening of the Chirwa tunnel for going from Udaipur to Nathadwara, the ghat section has become extremely unused thereby providing an opportunity for development.

As per the District Forest Officer, O.P. Sharma, 80 hectare area falling under the ghat section will be covered with different flowering plants under the  urban forestry scheme. He said that a proposal worth Rs 1.6 Crores has been sent to Central Forest and Environment Ministry and they hope to get the clearance by month end.

Development of Chirwa Ghat section into a valley of flowers will have direct benefit to Biodiversity park and Purohiton ka Talaab situated in the vicinity.

A cafe is also planned to be opened near the Heritage gate on the ghat section. 6 viewing points have also been identified on the ghat for tourists. A watching tower is also proposed for attracting tourists. Further, adventure sports are being planned in the area for adventure lovers.
