City Development Projects and Biological Park to be inaugurated by CM
Rajasthan’s first Biological Park constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 Crore on the Foothills of Sajjangarh Hill in Udaipur, will be opened to public on the 14th of March by the hands of CM Vasundhara Raje.

Vasundhara will also lay the cornerstone of the much awaited Auditorium at Sector 4, Hiran Magri on the same day. Apart from this, she will also inaugurate the Rs. 8 Crore Tribal Hostel constructed in the TRI premises on Ashok Nagar road.
Though the final program of the visit is not yet officially announced by the CMO, indications of a 14th March visit have been given. A list of tasks to be overseen during the visit has been presented by the Collector to the CMO.
Hiran Magri, being identified as a Suburb of Udaipur, and despite of having a population of over one lakh, has yet to see a government run Community Centre facility in the area. This Two Crore project has been conceived by the UMC and UIT and the cornerstone for the construction at Sector 4 will be laid by the CM during her expected visit on March 14.
On the other hand, the Rs. 8 Crore Hostel to accommodate 200 Tribal Students has been completed and is also expected to be opened to residential operations during the CM’s visit.
Public Bus service between the City Center to remote areas like Hiran Magri, Sector 14, Titardi, Pratapnagar, Badgaon – Bedla, Mulla Talai will also be inaugurated during the CMs visit. The UMC has purchased 8 vehicles to ply as City Busses between these areas.
A few road development projects to ease the traffic and commute issues of the city will also be inaugurated by the CM. These include the four lane Intercity Road project between Mali Colony and Sector 3 Hiran Margi, a direct road connecting Udiapol to Hiran Magri, etc.
