Udaipur district has once again been selected for the third phase of Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure development Project, whereby concrete drinking water management and constructions of under bridges and roads will be given priority.

Vikas Bhale, Collector, has asked the concerned officers to prepare proposals which would be sent to State Government through him. He sought proposals from P.H.E.D. for expansion of pipe lines, replacement of old pipe lines and establishment of water purification plant to bolster the drinking water system of the city.

Rajni Dangi, Chairperson of Municipal Council reiterated the need to link newly developed residential colonies with water lines.

While, S. P. Hari Prasad Sharma drew the attention towards narrow roads and the lack of elevated roads, under bridges, new parking zones. He urged to make endeavors to make city roads more traffic friendly.
