A city park will be coming up on the banks of Goverdhan Sagar lake in a year’s time. This park will be developed under the Amrat Yojana.

Decision on clearance of the project was taken in a meeting held in Jaipur that was chaird by Dr Manjit Singh, Principal Secretary, Local Self Government Department. State level technical committee gave clearance to the tender for park development in the meeting.

The park is estimated to be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 3 Crore. Along with the park, provision will also be made for a food-court and amphitheatre.

Work is estimated to begin on park development in a month’s time and the park is expected to be ready in a year’s time.
