City Station Railway Advisory Committee Meeting

The advisory committee of city railway station held a meeting today to discuss various points and suggested their views on how to improve the railway station by introducing facilities for the travelers.

 

The advisory committee of city railway station held a meeting today to discuss various points and suggested their views on how to improve the railway station by introducing facilities for the travelers.

The meeting was organized under the headship of DRM Harful Singh Choudhary, while DCM Jitendra Singh was the chief guest and M. L. Yadav was present as the special guest for the meeting.

One of the members Jinendra Shastri suggested increasing the number of coach in Udaipur-Khajuraho Express; Shastri also discussed on completing the work of Udaipur Ahmadabad Broad Gauge Line as soon as possible and also to increase the route of Mewar Express up to Haridwar.

Other suggestions were, to start rail bus from Udaipur to Nathudwara which is lying idle, to construct foot over bridge at Rana Pratap Railway Station and to reconstruct the road at the Rana Pratap Station.

Member Maya Kumbhat said that illegal guides must be controlled at the auto rickshaw stands at the railway station and parking facilities should be improved.

Inder Prakash Shrimali suggested of water arrangement inside the coach, Jaswant Ganna asked the Railway Administration to increase the number of ‘Kulis’.

In the meeting, Suresh Kanojiya, Omprakash Toshiniwal and Virendra Saroya also gave suggestions on which Railway administration assured to take action.
