Civil Defence department is all set for disaster relief. It has a team of 36 volunteers who are geared up to provide relief during any situation of disaster.

The Civil Defence department has trained its volunteers to rescue people and provide relief in situations like flood, breaking of lake promenades, fire, earthquake, explosions, building falling down and in situations where people get affected due to train or airline accidents.

The disaster management team is well equipped with fire brigade, rescue vehicle, life jackets, masks, flood lights, life tubes, ropes and other products required during rescue operations. A rescue truck is also about to arrive in Udaipur so as to facilitate transportation for a number of volunteers for rescue operations.
