CM Launches Bhamashah Yojna
Bhamashah Yojna, one of the largest initiatives for Women Financial Empowerment was launched by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on 15th August at MLSU’s Swami Vivekananda Hall. The project is expected to mark a new beginning in making women self sufficient.
Bhamashah Yojna, one of the largest initiatives for Women Financial Empowerment was launched by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on 15th August at MLSU’s Swami Vivekananda Hall. The project is expected to mark a new beginning in making women self sufficient.
CM Raje believes that this project will give financial freedom to 1.5 Crore women of Rajasthan and will release them from financial dependence on the family.
On the occasion, Gulabchand Kataria (State Minsiter), Rajiv Maharshi (Chief Secretary), Subhashchandra Garg (Chief Administrative Secretariat) and Akhil Arora (Information Technology Secretary) were also present.
As part of the arrangement, financial benefits from Government’s other projects will all be deposited in the same bank. Rajasthan government will be investing Rs.600 crore on Bhamashah Project.
Chief Minister launched the card and the first card was given to Shanta Bai of Udaipur. Raje also inaugurated Bhamashah Registration Camp in Kota through video conferencing.
Raje said that we have a culture of Father being the head of family and supreme authority but with this project a historical change is going to come in Rajasthan and the state will also get support from Mothers.
CM informed that registration camps will start on 16th August in Gram Panchayats and Wards of the cities.
