District Collector, Rohit Gupta, urged members of the Revenue department to expedite payment processing to citizen and to make payments hassle-free. Rohit Gupta made these observations today while chairing the district level gathering of revenue and other department members.

Rohit Gupta mentioned that payments related to Pension, Housing, MGNREGA, compensation to farmers et al. need to be expedited and officials need to be in constant touch with the applicants.

UMC officials noted that the construction in their area should happen only as per the UIT master plan so that they do not have to face issues of encroachment.  Collector Gupta called for online registration at all Panchayats and asked for discontinuation of offline mechanism.

Collector also asked for speedy processing of Ration Cards that are pending. He also recommended provisions for increasing e-mitra service wherever a need is felt.

Taking a technological route, he also recommended that officials should voice their concern over a whatsapp group  of officials so that immediate coordination and action may be taken.
