The Collector has declared an extension to the summer vacations and Schools will be closed till 8th July, 2012. This is applicable to all the students till class 8th.

However, students of class 9th – 12th and teaching staff as well as administration staff will be attending schools as usual. This decision was made in the light of ongoing heat wave.

In conversation with UT, Hemant Ghera, Collector (District) said “This decision of extending the vacations till 8th is taken in favor of school going kids. Summer is on its peak and so is the heat waves. The extension would be applicable in all the schools of the district”.
