A voter awareness campaign under the banner of Nehru Yuva Sansthan was held today at Zila Parishad.

The meeting was headed by District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar and ADM City Mohammad Yaseen Pathan.

Youth representatives of Nav Yuvak Mandal from all 12 blocks participated in the meeting. The youth were informed about the motive of voting, process and other related information about voting.

Pawan Kumar Amrawat, youth coordinator of Nehru Yuva Sansthan was also present.

Sandeep Paliwal, senior member of Gogunda Block informed that the campaign was focused to inform youth from villages and rural areas about right to vote so that the poor and illiterate people of villages are encouraged to vote.

Ashutosh Pednekar while addressing the media appealed that every voter should come up and cast their vote. Pednekar said that the election guidelines have already been sent to Udaipur Municipal Corporation and concerned departments have been directed to follow the election commission’s rules strictly.
