Collector Inspects Udaipur Elevated Road Project Site: Urges Timely Completion
District Collector Gaurav Agrawal reviews elevated road, Gulab Bagh, water treatment plant and tourist facilities; nstructions issued for quality work, timely completion and better public services
Udaipur, April 10, 2026 - District Collector Gaurav Agrawal carried out an inspection of the construction of the elevated road in Udaipur on Thursday (April 9) along with Udaipur Nagar Nigam Commissioner Abhishek Khanna. He expressed satisfaction over the progress of the project and directed that quality standards must be maintained while ensuring timely completion.
The Collector directed that the construction should be of high quality and completed in a time-bound manner so that people do not face any inconvenience. He instructed that regular meetings should be held to ensure this and a progress report submitted every 15 days.
The officials also inspected the facilities at Gulab Bagh garden including the parking area, water treatment plant and the toy train. The Collector stressed on provision of clean and adequate water during the summer season. He also reviewed the cleanliness of the park, the parking and ongoing legal cases in the Court. He instructed that better facilities should be provided to tourists with regard to the toy train.
Municipal Corporation Executive Engineer Akhil Goyal and Dinesh Pancholi were also present during the inspection.
