The Commissioner of Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC), Satyanarayan Acharya, instructed people washing clothes on the bank of Fateh Sagar Lake today to leave immediately.  He also instructed the Police Officers to not let anyone wash clothes on the banks of the lake.

UMC Commissioner was at Fateh Sagar today regarding the Auction for Hariyali Amavasya Mela.  The auction was postponed and will happen tomorrow.  Meanwhile, he caught sight of a few people washing clothes on the bank of Fateh Sagar Lake and immediately called the Police officers to ask them to leave or confiscate their clothes.

Steps like these are essential to be taken in order to maintain the beauty of lakes at Udaipur.
