Udaipur Municipal Corporation has initiated the construction of a Community Center at the Shantinagar locality in Sector-9, Hiran Magri.  The Community Center will cost around Rs. 50 lac and cover an area of 5000 square feet, as per Prem Singh Shaktawat, President of the Development Committee at UMC.

This project is a part of the Integrated Housing and Slum Development Program (IHSDP) Scheme of the Central Government.

According to Rajni Dangi, Mayor of Udaipur, “these community centers constructed in various localities will help locals to use infrastructure for their respective family and community programs.

The formal inauguration of the construction was done by the Mayor and Social worker Dinesh Bhatt.
