In the absence of GPS system, the buying and selling of Sonography system post 15^th July will be restricted. Strict actions will be taken against the companies found with sonography machines minus the GPS systems.

Health & Medical Department, Udaipur has ordered all registered institutes and retailers of machines to buy and sell machines with GPS systems. Chief Sanjeev Tank said that it is easier to track the sonography machines with the system hence, the initiative.

If a machine is moved to another place, the department will be immediately informed about the misplacement and strict actions will be taken thereafter against the violators. Also, institutes found with machines minus the systems will have their license canceled.
