With objectives of developing proper parking space in the city areas, Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) has proposed Double basement parking; representatives of Consultant Company visited UMC for evaluating various possibilities at the location, decided within Townhall campus.

In the meeting cum field survey held today in the morning session of Corporation’s affairs, consultants of UMC, Global Pvt Ltd had visited the location. Anastha Asnani (Representative) and Nilesh Purani (Architect) joined the field survey along with Mayor Rajni Dangi, Commissioner S. Acharya and other respective engineers.

According to Rajni Dangi, Corporation has suggested developing a basement parking in the Hathiwala Park at Townhall, consideration would be to carry out work without affecting park’s originality. The Mayor has called for suggestions over the technical issues of Entry and Exit from the parking space.

Sources say that to construct appropriate parking spaces across city, UMC had recently initiated parking lot construction project at Sevashram Flyover, an amount of Rs. 26 lacs are expected to be spent on its construction.
