Create No Boating Zone for Bird Protection: Experts
The lakes situated in southern Rajasthan that are included in the important bird area should be made into no-boating zone for bird conservation. This suggestion was provided by ornithologists and nature lovers to Forest Department after the conclusion of the bird fair.

For the implementation of this suggestion by the specialists, a proposal has been sent to district commissioner. The proposal is made in concerned to lakes and ponds in Southern Rajasthan, informed Rahul Bhatnagar CCF-Wildlife.
According to the specialists, fishing should immediately stopped and approximately 50% of the lake area should be marked in which all kinds of commercialized business should be restricted including boating, fishing and construction.
Besides this, during summer when the lakes dry up, farming practices are carried on. The usage of pesticide and insecticide should be stopped. Also, instead of speed boat and motor boat, paddle boat or boats with oars should be used.
The proposal states that around the lakes and ponds, dense trees and flora should be cultivated.
