Plantation of decorative plants in various parts of city is on its way, in which full-grown plants of various species has arrived and kept at Rajiv Gandhi Park.

According to Subhod Arora, Garden Consultant, “Decorative plants around 150 in numbers are kept for culturing at Rajiv Gandhi Park. These plants include Fox Tale, cycus and arica.”

Arora added that these plants will be established in localities of Shastri Circle, Delhi Gate, Court Chouraha and Fatehsagar paal, process of which is expected to start in next 8 to 9 days.

“Decorative plants possess a unique growing quality, which can be established anywhere and they survive at low water requirements. In addition to this, these plants remain green for long time as root spreads in relatively less time,” said Arora.
