Nandlal Meena, Tribal Regional Development Minister warned officers and wardens of Tribal Hostels for the irregularities that they are overlooking. Meena was attending a meeting at TRI where he spoke about the issue.

He said, “Due to lack of timely inspection, Wardens gets free will pass. They overlook the issues and remain absent for long times. Also, the amount which is allotted for development of students and accommodation is not being used efficiently.”

MLAs present in the Tribes Advisory Council meeting gave some feedback on the issue like conducting monthly meet between parents, students and warden for the progress report; monitoring the budget which is allotted for the development of students and the accommodation and appointing officers who can do sudden inspections of the hostels.
