Discussions were initiated on the construction of the proposed 60 ft road from Lake City mall till Subhash Nagar. UIT Chairman Ravindra Shrimali carried out the area survey with concerned officials to expedite work on this critical road.

Readers may note that this road is part of the Master Plan. UIT Chairman inspected with the team, the land area that will be acquired for this road. He asked the officials to initiate discussions with the affected people in the area and to prepare a budget estimation for the same.

This road has been proposed to run along Ayad river and will be 725 meters long. Given that a large portion of the land in this area is vacant, work is expected to begin shortly after a consensus is reached with affected people.

Post construction of this road, Ayad road and Subhash Nagar will be directly connected. This will reduce the traffic load at Durga Nursery road, BN Road and Kumbharo Ka Bhatta. This road has been taken prominently in the budget for 2017-18.
