Udaipur, January 11, 2025 - Udaipur Municipal Corporation continues its strict crackdown on encroachments. On Friday, January 10, 2025, the corporation demolished encroachments and unauthorized constructions in Saheliyon Ki Bari and Hathipole areas.

Action in Saheliyon Ki Bari

In the Saheliyon Ki Bari area, several illegal structures were targeted. A generator placed on the road by a shop in the main area was seized by a crane and removed. Additionally, a person running a business with a furnace on the road was detained, and both the furnace and counter were seized. A tin shed constructed by a restaurant owner on the road was also demolished during the operation.

Encroachments in Hathipole Area

In Hathipole, an illegal construction was targeted. The plot had been approved for a two-storey building, but an additional room and kitchen had been built on top of the second floor. This unauthorized structure was seized during the operation.

Municipal Commissioner’s Statement

Municipal Commissioner Ram Prakash emphasized that the corporation is determined to remove both temporary and permanent encroachments. He said that the action will continue until all illegal encroachments are cleared from the city.
