The city is witnessing increase in temperature as the summer season proceeds and at Fateh Sagar, there is a provision of only one water cooler for public. Despite of orders given by PHED minister Kiran Maheshwari 43 days back, there is no provision of another connection in the premises.

The officials on the other hand say that they haven’t yet received the permission for connection by UIT and Nigam. It is to consider that the Nagar Nigam had bought water cooler worth Rs. 45,000 around 5 months back which is being kept at the nursery due to lack of connection.

The tourists and locals visiting Fateh Sagar end up buying the bottled water from the shops as the only water cooler is at the gate towards Dewali, 800 meters away.
