Under the Stage 2 challenge of Smart City Mission, the administrative has received overwhelming response from its citizens in smart city ideas and suggestions.

As part of the citizen engagement & consultation process, the administration of the city organized a wide range of activities such as ward consultation camps, focus group discussions, field visits, stakeholder consultation, essay/painting competition, slogan competition, rangoli competition, vision forms submission, social media based activities etc. to ensure that each citizen participated in the Smart City Proposal making.

On the basis of lacs of suggestions received, the Udaipur administration in cooperation with its consultants has prepared a Draft Smart City Proposal document which encompasses different aspirations and dreams to be realized for the lake city. This draft document requires people’s voice to make it to the final Smart City Proposal.

So, the citizens can yet again play the role in the review process where they can give their opinion about these documents to make it the Smart City Proposal. The last date for giving the suggestion is 25^th November 2015.
