Udaipur railways were given a demo of Fire-safety which is an important knowledge during cases of explosions or fire in train compartments. 104 members of Railway Defence Team from Mumbai demonstrated fire safety measures for Udaipur railways on Udaipur City Railway Station.

The team form Mumbai Central Headquarters demonstrated various defence techniques through which passengers stuck in rail compartments can be rescued during the time of fire or explosion. Under the direction of Nand Lal Saroch, Team Incharge, demos were given regarding rescuing severely injured passengers. For this, they demonstrated as to how a stretcher can be made in a minute with the help of ropes on which the injured passenger can be brought down from the cabin. They also gave demos for handling situations where passengers have been injured due to explosions in a heavily crowded area. Methods of dousing fire were also demonstrated. Handling passengers in critical situations was also part of demos.

The jawans of Railway Civil Defence gave the message of saving water and planting trees by means of short plays. Passengers present on the railway station applauded the demonstrations given by the railway civil defence team.
