Urban Improvement Trust (UIT), Udaipur after construction of Vibhuti Park at Fateh Sagar promenade under National Lake Conservation Project (NLCP) is now embarking on the project of setting up an Aquarium and Art Gallery in the open space near parking area.

According to Ashutosh Pednekar, District Collector, Udaipur, tender for Aquarium has already been invited by UIT. Art Gallery will also be set up in the same area and will house various forms of paintings, rare photographs of city and other similar works.

Pednekar informed that a variety of tropical fishes, fresh water fishes along with various species of Catfish, Iridescent Shark etc. would be kept in the aquarium. Administration is currently debating whether entry should be charged or should the entry be free, added Pednekar.
