A faulty pipeline busted and thousand litres of water flushed into sewerage channels today outside Flora Complex, Pula Udaipur. Water kept flowing for hours while the concerned department was unaware of the incident.

Residents informed that the line carries water into nearby colonies and is faulty.

“When we tried to reach the concerned authority, we found that they were unaware of the incident even after hours of drainage of water. Official also claimed that there is absolutely no problem with the pipeline”, said a resident.

Season is changing rapidly. With the summers on its way, if water is wasted like this then in the coming days, people will have to face lots of problem as the difference between demand and supply of water increases in summers.
