Demonstrating strict action against littering, representatives of Municipal Corporation penalised 9 food vendors around Fateh Sagar for throwing wastage around the lake and in Guru Govind Singh park.

President of Health Committee, Om Chittora, informed that they had been receiving frequent complaints about the food vendors dumping food wastage around Fateh Sagar and in Guru Govind Singh park in the late evenings.

Carrying out strict action against 9 food stall owners, Municipal Corporation imposed a fine of Rs 500 on each. They were also warned that in case the behaviour is repeated, they will be asked to remove their stalls from the area.
