Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) is set to start work on construction of a Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at MB Hospital road. The FOB will connect the hospital entrance to the medical shops on other side of the road.

18 foot high FOB will be constructed at a cost of Rs 75 Lakh. The FOB will provide a much needed relief to patients and relatives of patients who face difficulty going from MB Hospital to the medical shops on the other side of the heavy-traffic hospital road.

The iron-steel FOB will be constructed on a single pillar. The pillar will be constructed on the divider.

Work on the FOB construction is likely to start from 10-Jan. Urgency of the construction is to avoid the model code of conduct that may come up due to upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
