Forest officials inspected the ongoing work to develop and set up an animal rescue centre, at the Biological Park at Sajjangarh.
Rahul Bhatnagar, Deputy Chief Conservator Forest and Wild Life, inspected one of the most awaited projects of Wild Life Rescue Center at the Biological Park.
After the instructions of Primary Chief Conservator of Forests to shift the animals from Gulab Bagh Zoo to Biological Park, the activities at the Biological Park gained significant momentum.
Along with Rahul Bhatnagar, Wildlife expert Dr. Satish Sharma, ACF Kesri Singh Rathore, Ranger Sujan Singh Soni were also present.
Bhatnagar inspected the enclosure and gave instructions to the concerned officials to speed up the work process, such that the Rescue Center gets started in January 2013.
While most of the enclosures of wild animals are at the edge of the completion at the Biological Park, the leopards that killed the chinkaras at the park last year are still out of reach, despite the traps set-up at different sights of the park by the officials.
