Forest Rest houses now opened for Tourists

To promote eco tourism in the state’s forest areas a new Eco Tourism Development Society has been formed. The society has released new tariffs for the facilities provided for tourists and nature lovers who wish to stay in Forest Rest Houses managed by Forest Department.

Facilities Per Day Tariff (excluding taxes)
Special Room Rs.700
Common Room Rs.300
Tent (for 2 person) Rs.300
Tree House Rs.300
Jhonpa Night- Rs.300 Day  – Rs.100
Extra Bed Rs.100
Dormitory Rs.50 per bed
  Other fares (excluding taxes) Educational Tour: Rs.50 for whole day tour and Rs.25 for half Day (Per Student) Other Tourists: Rs.100 for whole day tour and Rs.50 for half day Camping Platform charge Backpackers Tent – Rs.100 per platform per day For 2-4 people big tent’s platform – Rs.200 per platform per day Mansha Mahadev Prasadi and Food in Temple for religious tourist – Rs.200 per day (excluding tax) Entry charges to the National Park and Wild Life Century will be as per the norms.
