Former Udaipur Collector, Hemant Gera to be honored at Jaipur

Udaipur is declared No. 1 District in Rajasthan for successfully implementing “Nishulk Dava Vitran Yojna” for which Hemant Gera, former District Collector Udaipur will be honored for his extraordinary efforts to achieve the target.

He will be honored by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on October 2 (Gandhi Jyanti & International non-violence Day) at Jaipur.

Hemant Gera is well known to the public for his excellent work as a District Administrative Chief. He was also honored, for his effective management and prompt problem solving of citizens, by the Chief Minister. Under his leadership, Udaipur stands on top in states 20 point program.

Gera was responsible of successfully managing National Youth Festival and State level Sports tournament. He was also honored for his valuable positions in connecting rural population with administration in “Prashasan Gaon ke Sang” and for collecting 100% district revenue under his direction.

Hemant Gera has been transferred to Ajmer as DIG Revenue & Stamp, and IAS Vikas Bhale will take charge from him. Meanwhile, the charge of District Collector is with B.R. Bhati (ADM, City Administration).

Bhale will take charge of the office of District Collector Udaipur tomorrow on September 1, 2012.
