Foundation stone laid for first co-operative land development bank

The State Minister of Co-Operative Department, Ajay Singh laid foundation stone of First Co-Operative Land Development Bank at sector 14 Hiran Magri today. The state government will incur Rs.3 Cr on construction of basic infra-structure of this bank.

Ajay Singh in his short address after the foundation ceremony said, “Demand of Land Development was felt since a long time. The bank will provide financial aid to farmers of the District, so that quality of agricultural products can be improved.”

Singh further added that construction work of Co-Operative Bank is expected to be completed in over a year. Apart from providing financial aid to farmers, bank will also conduct periodic trainings to improve productivity of farmers’ land.
