As part of Smart City project, foundation stone was laid today for construction of parking centre at Delhi Gate and Chandpole by State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria.

At Delhi Gate, the parking lot is proposed in the land opposite Taiyyabiah School. As part of the proposed plan, parking for two wheelers will be second level while four wheeler parking has been proposed at first level. Construction of parking at this location will provide a huge parking place serving businessmen and visitors to Dhanmandi, Delhi Gate and Ashwini Bazar area.

The parking lot at Delhi Gate is estimated to come at a cost of Rs 1 Crore. The parking lot at Chandpole is estimate to cost around Rs 13.75 Lakh.
