20 officers of UIT and Nagar Nigam will be linked with the walkie-talkie system which is under processing by UIT. The expected budget of the project is Rs. 6.67 Lac which includes installation of the system plus its maintenance.

On the levels of police department, a wireless base will be prepared either at collectorate’s or UIT. It is to consider that this kind of services have only been seen in police department, private sectors, malls and hotels.

The 20 walkie-talkies will be handed over to officers of Nagar Nigam, UIT, and Electricity & Water department. One set will be with the collector.  Working within the range of 10 Km of the base center, important, urgent information will be instructed over these systems collectively.
