Four New Cleaning Vehicles Added to the UMC fleet

In line with their commitment of maintaining cleanliness in the City areas, Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) has spent 29 lac rupees on purchase of four Cleaning Vehicles; the vehicles will add to the existing fleet in collection of waste from various parts of the town.

In line with their commitment of maintaining cleanliness in the City areas, Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) has spent 29 lac rupees on purchase of four Cleaning Vehicles; the vehicles will add to the existing fleet in collection of waste from various parts of the town.

Today was the formal inauguration of newly purchased cleaning vehicles, incurring investment of Rs. 29.9 lac. The investment by UMC was incurred in two Front Loaders costing around Rs. 22 lac and Rs. 10 lac spent on purchase of two four wheel Autos. Further, another 40 more waste containers have been added ensuring due cleanliness around town.

Sources informed that the inaugural was carried out by Gulab Chand Katariya, Leader of the Opposition. Katariya flagged off the newly purchased vehicles after giving charge to Babulal Chouhan, Superintendent of Garage Committee.
