A two-day regional level workshop of Public Representatives and bureaucrats involved in Panchayati Samiti took place at the RNT Medical College Auditorium today.

Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Panchayati Raj Minister of Rajasthan, addressed the gathering as Chief Guest, “After the establishment of Panchayati Raj in Nagore by Jawaharlal Nehru, Rajasthan has gained a remarkable accomplishment and came out as a Model State for its operation,” he proudly stated.

Malviya said that the development index in villages is on the rise after handing over various departments namely Agriculture, Primary Education, Medicine and Health, Woman & Child Development and Social Justice & Empowerment.

The State Minister announced that free medicines will be provided to all the livestock from 15^th August to encourage the population of livestock in the state.

On the demand by the heads of various departments of Panchayati Raj, Malviya decided that given the distances and geographic conditions, they’ll be able to use government vehicles for 15 days in a month.
