Taking cognisance of the increasing traffic load on the State Highway linking Keer ki Chowki to Fatehnagar, Public Works Department Rajasthan has sanctioned a budget of Rs 60.3 Crore for widening the road.

Road from Keer ki Chowki to Fatehnagar connects NH 27 to SH 9. This road is currently extremely narrow with width of 3 mtrs. With passage of the budgetary allocation, the road will now be broadened to 7 mtrs.

Besides connecting NH27, the proposed road will connect with the road coming from Dabok Highway and going towards Dariba. The proposed road length of 30.5 kms will be broadened at estimated cost of Rs 60.3 Crores and will hopefully reduce the large number of accidents that currrently happen on this narrow road.

The proposed road will pass through two major rivers. Hence, there is provision in the budget for submersible bridge on Bedach and Gunjali rivers.
