As promised in the State Budget 2013-14, implementation of ‘Shubhlakshmi’ scheme started today with mothers of three infant girls getting a cheque of Rs. 2100 each by the Parliamentary Secretary Gajendra Singh Shaktawat.

In this scheme, three cheques of Rs. 2100 will be given to each mother of a girl child. First one will be given when the baby is born; second one will be given exactly after 1 year of the first cheque; while the third check will be given when the girl starts going to school at the age of 5 years.

Today Shaktawat congratulated the mothers and gave cheques on behalf of the state government at Pannadhay Government Hospital. The three mothers, Deu Bai (Bhinder), Nani Bai (Gogunda) and Renuka (Kherwada) seemed happy after receiving the gift.
